Today I went in for my 6 week PP and birth control appt. It was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had. First, he was being super aggressive to me about getting on anti-depressants. I have my reasons at the moment for not being on them. Which I explained and he was just rude telling me I’ll never feel better if I don’t start them. Then he was trying to get me to do a different birth control than I wanted. I wanted non-hormonal and he was adamant that I should do ones with hormones. Dr. Copley was very dismissive and nonchalant when I was explaining my concerns to him regarding what I have been experiencing with a cyst in one of my ovaries. Everytime I went on to explain he wouldn’t let me finish my sentence without him interrupting me. He even inappropriately blurred something out loud right in front of other nurses which was my own personal business that I discussed with him before the Pap smear. I’ll save you the trip. He is no longer doing Obstetrics as of 2/1/24. So if you are looking to get any form of pregnancy or fertility treatment it won’t happen. I waited a month for this appointment and not one person told me this beforehand. I sat in the office for 40 minutes until Dr. Copley told me he was getting out of Obstetrics and couldn’t help me. Communication is awful at this office.
Had my first appointment today with Dr. Kevin felt very comfortable talking with him and his staff.
