The beautiful campus and lake setting.
Great programs and great professors, but the school sorely lacks in the Student Community aspect. The school says “we are open to everyone!” But not a kid who wore big baggy pants. “The school inspires leaders!” Until you become an outspoken person of the corrupt administration. Keuka College provided me with a great education, especially the yearly 1 month field period that gave me extra on the job experience. This gave me a nice advantage when I started to apply for jobs. Not only did I have my student teaching experience, I had 4 more months of Field Period experience that gave me that step above others.
The field periods are great and it has a more personal touch than a big university does.
Dreadful. Absolutely DREADFUL. Do NOT let the tours trick you, they completely over glamorize this school. Throughout, my whole time here i hated it 90% of the time, i dreaded coming back here from breaks and i tried to be off campus as much as possible. Coming back here seriously made me depressed.
