I had a mammogram in December denying the add on of tomosynthesis as I knew my insurance would not cover it. I was explicit to the technician that I did not want the add on service as I did not feel it was necessary. I was charged for the study and the add on. My insurance was billed and paid partial for the study that I had refused. I filed a dispute and had to call back two weeks later to hear that my balance was $0 and asked for a receipt.
