This center closed in Dec 2023 and never notified me. No phone call, no email, no letter in the mail. Completely blown off by these people. Super disappointing. I can’t even get my medical records from here, and going forward, with another clinic has been challenging to get the right dosage. Whoever was in charge here did a disservice to everyone who came through the door.
I only have amazing things to say about this center! I have a really bad major chronic depression and ketamine treatment is the only thing working for me for a couple of years if I’m having a relapse. After getting this treatment in Canada and moving here, I started coming to the Altamonte Center when I had flares and it really helped me. The staff are so genuinely kind, which is refreshing when receiving care for treatment-resistant depression. Ketamine works differently for everyone, but I found the treatments to bring relief I have never experienced elsewhere. Still going every month or so for boosters, just definitely worth it.
The Altamonte location of KHC is staffed by a great group. Tyler and Shaun cultivate a relaxed and comfortable environment during the treatment process. Shaun's lighthearted and joyful attitude eases your mind as you begin an infusion. Tyler's compassionate approach and great listening skills are also very comforting throughout. I highly recommend this type of therapy and also this clinic to aid any prospective patient during their mental health journey.
