I recently had my oil changed at Kerry Toyota. I was greeted immediately with a smile. They directed me to the waiting room. My cars oil was changed as quickly as possible. They were very busy. They came to the waiting room when my car was ready to complete the process. I was very happy with their service dept. I definitely will return.
What a nightmare of a shop. Everyone is pissed off and nobody knows what is going on with anything. It used to be so much better. I would avoid this place like the plague. Also, avoid buying cars with trick warranties that require you to use their service department.
I feel let down. They sell this extra warranty package with a 2014 Toyota Tacoma truck. We have had 2 required maintenance visits (or warranty is void. So we did our part). Both times they tried to CHARGE me for NOT ONLY the visit itself BUT ALSO the ISSUE THEY FOUND while doing maintenence! NEITHER SERVICES OR PARTS were covered! PLUS THEY ALSO CHARGED ME $180 DIAGNOSTIC FEE!!!! The warranty contract they sold us (we paid thousands of dollars for it!!) IS LITERALY WORTHLESS!!! I wasn't going to bother but now I realize it might be best to document the negligence on Toyota service departments behalf in the event of partial or total engine failure in the near future; Scheduled an appointment to get the engine/pcv valve checked out, mentioned that my main concern was blowby/excessive engine block pressure and the reason I started investigating in the first place was because of a whirring noise the car was making hours after being off. I brought my 2025 Prius in for a 'System Malfunction' error and explicitly told the service advisor the issue started after an aftermarket dash cam installation involving a fuse tap. This critical information was dismissed by the service advisor, Jesse, who numerous other people are complaining about in this review section. They charged me $200 for an initial diagnostic, kept me waiting for 3 hours, and then told me they couldn't identify the root cause and needed to book more paid diagnostic time.
