Covid protocols are a bit of a pain. Can't accompany pet into clinic. Line up outside. Dr calls on phone after exam. Then you pick up pet. Running about 15 minutes late from appointment time, so cold wait. Can be long lineups. Street parking. Dr seemed competent on phone, but as 1st time client would have been nice to meet. No problem entering clinic and mingling to pay bill lol. Kool-aid drinkers? UPDATE: New vet. On time. Friendly helpful efficient staff.
The vet, Aimee, is rude and condescending. She does not understand that what she read in the book is not applicable to every dog. She also does not understand that each test has an indication. Randomly doing tests is not helpful. The nurse in this clinic is lovely and deserves a star. The receptionist (Nicole) is usually unpleasant.
We have dealt with this vet for over two years now. As our cat has undergone a couple of teeth cleanings and tooth extractions, check ups, blood work, urine samples, etc. Everytime we've brought him home, he is always quick to bounce back to his cuddly affectionate self. Which is what stood out to us visiting Kerrisdale hospital the first time, as this hasn't been the case in the past with other animal hospitals.
