The Empire log set works fine but it can be purchased on-line for over $200 less. There are no returns so make sure of your decision. We were told the logs were ceramic and found that they are cement by checking elsewhere. I understand their not wanting to take returns, but the reason given was that it is against the law if the box is opened. All on-line dealers WILL accept returns. Went there to buy an electric fireplace and they had a whole lot to choose from and took great care of me and my wife. I am very happy and would recommend to anyone.
