My wife and I have built 3 houses over the years and always go back to Kerns. Recently we replaced wood flooring in the lower level and carpeting in the theater room, bedroom and walk-in closet. We ordered a hallway and stair runner in March, 2026. The carpet is good quality and the contractor who installed it was excellent. Our problem was with a salesperson, Mathew, who frankly was not good at his job. His inability to think critically and manage the project by communicating clearly with his team and customer caused the project to go 13 weeks from order to install. John G is just amazing to work with. He trouble shooted for us when I stopped in on a Friday evening with a very tight deadline and he was able to schedule us for measuring the next day, selecting an in stock carpet, and install 4 days later. Highly recommend Kern's.
I had a great experience with Kerns Carpet while remodeling my home office/sitting room. I was looking for pink carpet to compliment my pink accent wall, and after visiting several stores with very limited options, Kerns had the best variety of pink shades. The manager (Matthew) was extremely helpful and attentive. He pulled several samples, helped me compare colors, and even suggested placing the samples on the floor so I could see how they would actually look once installed.
