My Mom died in 1/2001 and her estate is still not closed. Kernan and Kernan let insurance money go to the state of NY as unclaimed. They have been aware of this for several years and our attorney has been on their case but all we have to show for it is promises that they will file to have the money returned. At this point they should just get their check book out and write me a check for the $4000+ that I am owed.
