Really cool archive/history of Mardi Gras floats with dozens of current and past floats on display. You can also see the human artisans at work and their robotic counterpart Pixie—who very precisely carves large pieces to be sent for expert human finishing touches.
I thought the price was a bit high for the amount of area you see (which is relatively small). You do see many pieces of work. But again... the area isnt very big. If the price was cheaper id give it 5 stars. Still happy I went. Was very cool to see. Just wish it was bigger.
What a phenomenal experience! It's such a visual and sensory loaded tour. The colors and the craftsmanship are just, WOW! Thankfully you can take as much time as you'd like to really see it all and you can take all the pics that you'd like.
The creativity on display is amazing!!!
