Bought 16 cubic yards of raised bed mix and it's absolutely filled with garbage. Every time I weed, I'm pulling out bits of plastic, wrappers, cigarette butts, broken glass, and other random trash. I reached out to Kern but never heard anything back. I really wish I would have gone with someone else as now I have to decide what to do about my garbage heap.

Good prices. Everyone there was super helpful and to the point, didn't waste any time. We were in and out real quick. 10/10 would dump here again.

I ordered the raised garden bed mix from Kern’s for a new bed. They had come recommended by a neighbor who sang the praises of a soil mix (1-1-1) they apparently don’t offer anymore. Delivery was messy (they dumped a lot of the soil in the street) and did damage to my raised bed but I was more concerned about getting my tomatoes planted. I saw plenty of inorganic material in the mix that appeared to be plastic but planted anyway. Bad call.
