Got the immobilizer delete for different reasons than most. I love the 05-06 Jettas with the BRM PD engine. I get them cheap with bad cams and then fix them. I'm on my 3rd one now. A guy rear ended the first one and totaled it. My wife hit a rock in the middle of the road in the second one and obliterated the oil pan and seized the motor. Ill start by saying I was a bit skeptical about paying so much for a kit not really knowing the end result. But the moment I stepped on that accelerator I knew I made the right decision. It freaking rips. I really gotta upgrade my transmission.
Avoid like the plague. I bought Kerma’s intercooler hose kit for my 2014 Jetta TDI. The product listing says it includes “all necessary clamps and o-rings,” but it turns out it’s missing a critical part — the metal retaining clip needed to attach the hose. Without it, you either have to destroy your OEM hose to reuse the clip or go hunting for a compatible one (which VW’s part doesn’t fit, by the way). Some good parts not so good service
10/10 customer service! Jason and Bert are the bees knees! Needed a dog bone mount asap and couldn't pick up in person but my man Bert personally went out of his way to drop it off at the house. Customer service great, communication great!
