Short on doctors! I went to the emergency room and, since I don’t have a family doctor the new way of proceeding in case of minor health problem is to call a doctor “rocket doctor “ or “Telus health “! Not invited to come to the clinic!!! Our government is really incompetent!
I understand that the wait may be long sometimes but personally I feel very lucky to have what we have in Keremeos, take a book, Dr Louw is awesome and any Dr that I have seen have been very helpful. The receptionists must have a hard time dealing with all the complaints from the public, I feel a huge understanding is needed in this respect, I have found myself getting a little annoyed but then give my head a shake, I’m not the only one they have seen that day. My doctor is very good, but some of the front desk receptionists are very rude!Asking questions about personal things that are none of their business.
***** update ***** Recently went back to the clinic with my partner who had an eye infection. The receptionist was lovely and got him registered (it took a while as it was international insurance and it was her first time doing it, but very efficient and informative). Doctor was professional and informative.It took no longer than 1 hour from start to finish.
