Dr Patel is the co-chair of the surgical affairs committee for the American Thyroid Association, secretary of the New York Head and Neck Society, and research chair of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons. He manages tumors in the best way possible for each patient, removing only a portion of the thyroid and not operating all if not necessary. I took my mother to visit Dr. Patel and had a 9:30appt. We had no wait time. Dr. Patel and his staff was knowledgeable, kind and spent a good deal of time with us answering all our questions. We trust him and his team.
From the moment you first speak with Dr. Patel at NYU Langone you know you are in great hands. Very calm and thoughtful while explaining all the details of your procedure. His entire team is second to none. My wife’s surgery was a success and she is cancer free! This Doctor is a gift from God.
