I’ve been a home owner out here for around 7 years now. I love the place, but 4 almost 5 years ago, the lot fee has been going up $50+ every year. Now it’s currently higher than my mortgage. The point of owning the home is to eventually pay it off and end up only having to pay a reasonable lot fee. My concern is that if it keeps going up at this rate, by the time I pay it off, the lot fee is going to rise high enough to replace my mortgage.
Called as a potential buyer this very morning for KENWOOD LANDING and was asking about a home I saw there that was empty, first off where I’m from we call them trailers not mobile homes, though that shouldn’t matter , this woman chose to correct me and tell me what she doesn’t like for people to keep calling the mobile homes-Trailers, yeah I’m glad I see in advance I wouldn’t want to deal with her nor buying any TRAILERS off their lot. I have lived here for 4 years and never had a problem with management or the community. I have a mortgage on my home and rent the lot. I have never had a problem with management taking care of the trees on their property until new management came. She's rude and very condescending. The trees getting cut back has never been my responsibility and it's now damaging my roof. Tried to get the new manager to take care of their tree on their property and she refused. If I can give them zero stars I would. This has been the most stressful and frustrating experience of my life. They lie, property is nasty, cats everywhere, maintenance never comes, and the new lady carmen is a liar don’t believe anything she says. I moved back to my home town because I have a sick family member and I offered to help take care of them.
