I bought a brand new pre-built home from Kenwood homes in 2019 and it's been a total nightmare. During the first year of ownership I had to get my roof replaced because Kenwood Homes did not do it correctly in the first place. The tiles on the roof were rolled up and looked horrible overall. I had to pay about $6k out of pocket since luckily there was some hail damage that my insurance found or else it would of been a lot more. The second year I had to get my backyard leveled and built. These guys are great builders. Reliable and fast.
Kenwood Homes built my new home. The design is great. However, they just never seem to be able to finish what they started. I have many outstanding items for completion after closing and they don't respond to either myself or to the warranty company and don't give any timeframe on when the outstanding items will be completed. So technically, once they get the money, they walk away, whether or not you have a warranty. Rachael was amazingly helpful when I spoke with her about having a home built. Much more so than some other builders in the area. She genuinely seemed like she wanted to help me in any way she could. While I haven't purchased a Kenwood home yet, I felt compelled to leave a review for the fantastic service. Hopefully I can come update this review once we do build or purchase a home from Kenwood.
