If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I contacted Legal Aid for help with a serious housing issue involving disability rights and possible landlord retaliation. From the beginning, the experience was unprofessional. They had my email wrong, so I didn’t hear anything for over a week. I was supposed to have an appointment on a Friday, then it was pushed to Monday — and no one ever called. I had to chase them down myself, leaving a voicemail just to finally get a response. Sam has been helping me with my home situation. Although I'm on a legally protected forbearance, since I have a Freddie Mac loan, my bank continues to falsely report that I am delinquent in payments. Although my forbearance is coming to an end, Sam has been helping to advise me in case the bank tries to proceed with foreclosure. He has also been advising me regarding getting my credit fixed. If I could give him 10 Stars I would
I've contacted them multiple times over several months and have never gotten any call back or help. I have even been there in person and been told I would be contacted about my case and haven't been. It is sad that they aren't contacting people who are deeply in need of their help. My options are limited because I cannot afford a retainer with any family lawyers in Bowling Green.
