Update: The office manager reached out to me and was able to reverse the discharging me from their practice until I get set up with a new rheumatologist in my area. They are also going to fill out the referral form that was faxed to them from the rheumatologist office that I am trying to get an appointment with here locally. I also got a call from the appointment desk to set up a virtual appointment with Dr Chase, so I can stay on track with my labs and refills for my medications. This office was bought out by a different company, and it is horrible now. They recently accused me of not paying a $10 co-pay from 2 years ago, but never sent me any notices about it before sending it to collections. I have a bank statement with the proof of the payment. They were very rude to me on the phone when I told them I have always paid my co-pays up front on the day of the appointments, saying, "I wasn't here back then, so I don't know that." I am switching to a new office.

I didn’t have abnormal blood marks, so I was completely blown off as though I was fine. I’ve been dealing with a list of debilitating symptoms and Dr. Chase made me feel as though I was unwelcome and crazy. There’s nothing quite like waiting months and months for an appointment, spending a $50 copay, just to be brushed off in the end.
