I actually wish that I would have never been referred here. I came to this place for a year and literally not one part of my life changed as a matter of fact it got worse and no one there could seem to be bothered by that. Dr long and her assessments were a joke. Giving me a child's autism test and not using proper adult testing guidelines wasted a year of my life and now I am sitting here with a terminal illness literally dying and I have no help. Went in for an interview to get an assessment in January. Saw the doctor. It was an hour of questions. During the questions she would frequently interrupt me while I was still talking to ask me a completely different question on the list. Her tone wasn't naive either- it was short. She didn't explain herself and she did it over and over. At the end of the appointment she didn't say anything she got up and stood by the door. So I stood up too. Dr Long was great, this would be a 5 star if it weren’t for their billing and medical record release practices. They REFUSED to send my records to my specialist because I had yet to pay my copay. I’m thankful I HAD NOT bc they were attempting to charge me TWO copays for ONE visit; which providers usually bill the patient and not hold their medical records hostage for.
