My MX-5 nc had the dreaded crankshaft bearing knock after the engine was staved of oil. Unbeknown to me, the engine was burning oil fast. Chris collected the car and brought it back when done. I had a replacement engine shipped and they did an excellent job at fitting it and moving over my BBR upgrade parts. Chris recommended a clutch replacement too, which didn't incur extra labour as the engine was already coming out. Great communication with photos throughout the process and all questions answered. KentMX5 performed a partial rebuild / crank swap on my 2008 Mazda MX-5 MK3 after it developed a knocking noise. The price quoted was the price I paid, no hidden extras and full transparency. I couldn't recommend Chris at Mx5 service anymore. I live about 500+ miles away and he was very acomatating at helped a tone by giving suggestions on how to transport the car down, during the time he had the car he gave constant updates and kept me informed on what he was doing and over all had amazing customer service.
