Kensington Vanguard (Attorney Jen McCarthy) recorded my deed of trust with FORGED initials and my name misspelled on the document. Corinne Duvall shipped the seller’s keys to the wrong address with my name misspelled on the package. After 7 settlements, this is the WORST settlement experience I’ve ever had as a buyer or seller. I have filed a police report regarding the forgery. I also filed a complaint with the Virginia State Bar association against Jen McCarthy. Do NOT use this settlement company!

Vellum Mortgage decided to use Kensington for our settlement. Everything was going fine until it came time to fund our settlement. A Wire payment only take 1 to 2 hours to process from one back to another bank. Kensington keeps saying the wire has been processed and funds removed from their account. 24 hours later and I still have not received my funds! They said I have to contact my bank and give them an IMAD number. My bank stated that only the sending bank can use this number for tracking. Let me off this dang merry-go-ro... read more
