****** ** ********** ** **** *** *** **** Ken's Spa Service has never let me down. If he cannot respond immediately, he will coach you on steps you can take to keep your hot tub from freezing up. When he does respond he has the uncanny ability to zero in on your exact problem. So different from other companies I have used. They say, "Let's try a new circuit board." They keep guessing as your repair bill goes up and up. Ken's knowledge and experience will save you money for sure.

I tried to cancel an estimate for repairs but Ken's spa service insisted on just taking a look because je was in the area and wouldn't charge/fix anything "without your green light". He was there 10 mins and left a $169 bill "for his time and travel". Not professional or honest with upfront charges. Then told me to watch put for 'karma' when I questioned his charges. WOW. Very Unprofessional and desperate.

This customer ( not her real name) cancelled on me an hour before our scheduled time because she chose to work longer . I asked if shed allow me to go and troubleshoot it for her and contact her with the issues. Upon driving over and checking things out I contacted her and let her know what was wrong and the price she said she didnt want to fix it then. I paid Ken to fix an issue with my hot tub but a few days later, the same problem occurred. He didn't respond to requests to come back out to fix the problem. When he finally responded, he said he was getting over COVID and would call me the next week to schedule an appointment. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but he never called. I tried multiple times to reach him with no response. Unless you have money to throw away, don't use this business.

*** of ***** spas is not a man of his word. I noticed the water level in my hot tub was lower than usual, so I contacted Ken's **** to make the repair. When he completed the repair, he asked that I turn the hot tub on to let it heat, assured me that the issue was resolved and accepted my check. He told me to keep an eye on the water level and call if I saw any changes. Of course, my check was cashed immediately. Two days later, I noticed water on the deck, called and asked bim to come back. I paid Ken over $1,000 to fix a hot tub...he doesn't return my calls..tub still leaks! I have left over five messages...sent several texts, as he told me he was ordering the part...After it took over a month to get the original part, I was patient, as covid was affecting deliveries...But...not returning calls and going ghost when the job is not complete is unacceptable business protocol. I would not give Ken as a reference to anyone expecting to have timely and accurate service.

Ms. ****** has a right to be upset at me for not getting back sooner. Ken’s spa service did fix her spa as he said he would . The equipment was replaced and is working properly although there is a leak that is unrelated to the original problem. Ken’s has never taken money wrongly because the leak wasn’t the original issue. The leak stop solution has been back ordered for quite awhile. I have experienced a devastating death very recently which has gotten me so far behind in customer service. I wish there was less than a 1--when he first came I thought he was very good--he worked quickly and professional--however usually the service call fee is waived if the person ends up doing work--he charged me for the work and low and behold he did not fix the issue he came to fix--before he came, he answered texts or calls immediately--now it is like he is a lost person--after several texts and voice messages he has not returned any and I still have a leaky spa and am out over $400==on another site, someone said he is good ... read more

I bought a new spa pack and two stage motor on the internet and then decided I wasn't comfortable hooking up the 220 wiring on the spa. The spa is 14 years old. Ken returned my call and came the next day. He told me he could handle the job. The was a glitch, but it was with the wiring in the house. He worked on it and figured out the problem in short order. I have used Ken's Spa Service at the recommendation of ******** Pools and **** where we originally purchased our hot tub. The tub had issues, and Ken came out to take a look at it and determined it needed a new pump. In the end, the tub had a leak that was not fixable, and he kindly offered to come out and retrieve the pump, give us back a portion of the cost of the pump, and share the name of a business that could take care of hauling the hot tub away. Business response:

This complaint has been resolved by Kens Spa Service removing the pump and refunding a portion of the monies paid. The serviceman had an extended illness which prevented him from contacting the customer in a timely manner.

I have been using Ken's services at two different residences for about 10 years. I would not trust anyone else to work on my spas. He is very reasonably priced, efficient and does top quality work. He's also a very nice person. I would highly recommend using his services.
