Cannot express the amount of knowledge and guidance available, right along side the parts to make things happen. Ken has been around for decades and continues to diligently serve the local area.
I'm not going to give 1*, but I'm not thrilled with my experience. First off, as a business, I expect a certain level of professionalism when dealing with other businesses. I knew Ken would be rude after reading his web page, but I gave him a shot anyways. He didn't disappoint. Customer service is not his strong suit. Honestly I feel bad for this old fellow. He’s a gem- his expertise is a nearly extinct art. People who appreciate older things like I do need people like Ken around. If you stop and listen to him, he hasn’t had it easy. I didn’t experience horrible customer service from him, but I suspect that people who did just don’t understand older people. I ordered from Ken's Electronics a 3.3435 MHz crystal for a Robyn 747b that I am working on. It's a very difficult to find crystal, and Ken's had it in stock. When I called they promptly answered the phone and were all business, very nice, very professional, and to the point demonstrating efficiency. They shipped the crystal out on a Monday and I received it in excellent condition that Wednesday evening. Great place to do business with, zero issues whatsoever.
