I want to update my original review, because once the situation became clear, I realized the issue was a misunderstanding with an outdated email address listed on the website. I had been reaching out through an old account, and the messages weren’t being seen. Once we were able to reconnect, Kenneth responded with care and understanding, and was very willing to help resolve things. Great ssi lawyers
In 2022, I would have given Kenneth 5 stars for helping my partner win his appeal. Today, I’m giving him 1. My partner died by suicide last year, and since then I have been struggling mentally, emotionally and financially, raising our son on my own. I received a letter in the mail in September stating that Kenneth never claimed his lawyer fees, and that if he doesn’t claim them within 20 days of the date of the letter, those funds would go to my son’s survivors benefits. Although I am still mid appeal process, And it’s been a very, very long wait, And after getting very frustrated with Ken for some initial issues with lack of communication, He went above and beyond to call me and address all my questions and continues to advocate for my case despite how hard it is dealing with Social Security lately.
I have now a 4 year ongoing application (then it gets denied) so we appeal it with Ken Gormly. He’s older which is not the problem but I feel he’s given up trying for people and helping those that really need it, as he wants to retire - is HARDLY in office, isn’t thorough nor explaining what someone with disabilities needs in order to understand what’s going on… he’s done essentially nothing; I still pull all my own records, talk with SSI the ENTIRE TIME just to learn he hasn’t submitted anything - misses deadlines / this gu... read more
