My mom had surgery for her shoulder/torn rotator cuff and after she got home we got a call from pharmacy saying pain med needed verification- and surgical office closed for the day. On call MD isn't allowed to prescribe pain meds- SO YOUR SENDING FOLKS HOME W/O PAIN MEDS right after surgery.....Ive been in healthcare 30yrs and this was neglect- PERIOD.
