Had both cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomies. Thoroughly researched Dr. Hood and chose him from his exceptional reviews at UMC in Tucson and was thoroughly convinced when I met him. Calm, confident demeanor...explained in detail his plan, answered any and all questions. His staff Nathan, Molly, and Jayme are second to none. If you are looking for a recommendation for a talented and knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon...Look no further.

From start to finish I had a wonderful experience with not only Dr. Hood but with all the staff. Dr Hood was up front and very clear of what needed to be done and answered all my questions and put me at ease. After my A.L.I.F surgery any issue that arose they got me in that day and addressed the issue and made me comfortable. At all my follow up appointments they made sure that everything looked good and really cared about my post op care.
