Wonderful, professional neurologist. Very knowledgeable and experienced. As an RN of 38 years, I was blessed to be in his hands. I would highly recommend him.
The receptionist does not have the best energy. She tried everything to turn me away without scheduling an appointment. It went from my son not being 18 (he will be in a month), to his insurance changing as I assured her it won’t, to a new patient referral code not on his referral. At this point I’m going elsewhere. I’m writing this review because Dr. Holmes needs to be aware of how this was handled.
As soon as I arrived, the staff in front was so kind and welcoming…. And Dr Holmes certainly made everything 10 times better because of his experience and bed side manner.
Dr. Holmes administered (2) EMG/NCV tests on me in the last month. Although these tests are not pleasant, Dr. Holmes makes the experience bearable. As others have said, he is extremely compassionate, caring, thorough, and willing to listen to the patient. To further facilitate a positive experience, he shared a similar medical experience of his own. His front office staff is absolutely the best as well. After seeing dozens of medical professionals in the last month, he has been one of my favorites. Highly recommend!
