Dr Shain explained my condition by doing a great job of coming way down to my level of understanding. He explained the seriousness of the situation without freaking me out.The good doctor and his nurse(Christine) made me feel confident I have the best of the best in my corner.As did everyone we encountered at Moffitt.
Dr Shain is always accessible and very thorough in his explanation of my treatments.
There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe the gratitude I have for Dr. Shain. My husband first became his patient in Nov 2019, about as sick and failing as a person can be. Not so much from the very rare lymphoma he was diagnosed with, but from the treatment he was receiving at a local cancer center in our area. You will not find a better, caring oncology hematologist in Central Florida. My husband has been with Dr. Shain ~ 5 years now. He has even stayed after hours for my husband. He is personally and professionally involved. Explains everything and spends as much time with you as necessary.
