I love Dr. Palmer, he gave me my life & my freedom back. I had been suffering with sciatic pain for more than 4yrs. I had my spinal fusion in December 2024 and have not had any sciatic pain since! Dr. Palmer is an amazing doctor and surgeon. After my surgery, he went to the waiting area to speak to my family letting them know what was done & what to expect. He put them all at ease. I had back surgery back in 2012. Let me just say, Dr Palmer took care of me. I had L4/L5 pinched, and he corrected it. I'm here to say I'm still active, and no more back pains. I always refer Dr Palmer.
NEW PATIENTS BEWARE!!! I wish I would've listened to some of the honest reviews. My PCP wrote a referral for Dr. Palmer after realizing that my condition needed a specialist. My insurance approved the referral and told me to call to schedule the appointment. Upon calling the Woodlands location to attempt to schedule an appointment, I was told that my referral should be for Ann Bailey, his PA. I asked them, "how was I or my PCP supposed to know that?" If you are looking for a spine surgeon, please please please GO to Dr. Palmer! I truly don't think you will find anyone better. Both he, his PA (Ann Bailey), and the rest of his staff are fantastic. I was actually scheduled for a spinal fusion with another doctor at Memorial Hermann, but decided to get another opinion from Dr. Palmer because I didn't have a good experience with my other doctors or their staff.
