A doctor to all my family. He is exceptional and care about his patients.
My grandmother has been out of her breathing medication for a week now and we've repeatedly called the office to try to get through to someone to refill it and so far Dr. Bain hasn't approved it or gotten the message. Every time we call we get transfered to Baptist health and the lady says she'll call Dr. Bains office and let them know to refill it. Why can't I call his office?! Why is it so hard to get a refill on medication that my life depends on getting and my insurance pays very well for?! It's ridiculous!
Dr. Bain is a fantastically intelligent man in ways and I believe really cares about his patients, but if you have any inkling to advocate for yourself don't bother with him or most anyone at Baptist Health, aside from maybe Cindy McCann. Baptist Health is also just a complete joke. I feel like they've probably made these providers miserable with all their nonsense and they certainly made it difficult on the patients. You go in for a yearly, which your insurance says is free, but you get charged for discussing your health. What the hell is a yearly for if not to discuss health issues. All they want to do is bill for more money.
I seen Dr Bain back in 2020 when my old Dr retired and my psychiatrist was in the process of opening her own practice. I had been sick and out of work for a month and I never had a Dr make me feel as belittled as he did. I left there crying because he tried to say my congestion and breathing issues was in my mind which we know today was probably covid.
