I have been using Dr. Scioscia for years and can attest that he is very professional, caring, always listens to me and took his time at each visit. Additionally, he writes a thorough report after for my other doctors to follow summing my visit and what we spoke about which is rare. His office staff is very accommodating at both locations. Visited Dr. Scioscia due to severe vertigo. During the exam, he said, "you have a small bit of earwax, would you like me to remove it?" and I said sure, thinking it was part of the exam. Much to my surprise, there was $255 charge for "removal of impacted earwax" on my bill! I was not told that I would be charged for this during the visit - he didn't use any special equipment, he even said it wasn't impacted, he didn't do anything I could not have done at home with a Q-tip. Unprofessional, condescending and unfit to work with patients. Started my visit from outside the office door asking what he could do for me. HIPPA violation? He was dismissive of my complaint and had the gall to suggest testing that that I felt would be unnecessary in my case. Did he spend enough time with me, he wasted my time. He must save his better conduct for others. I can't recommend him to anyone.
Horrible horrible Dr such lack of social skills and listening to the patient he brushes everything away dosnt listen nor care. If anything he made things worse. The worst Dr I’ve ever been to in my life
