This was his first time at doggie day camp and I appreciated that they do an introduction to the play area with a “test” dog to see how new dogs will behave. They called to say he seemed nervous and would leave him in the kennel for the morning session and try again in the afternoon. I’m not sure if they tried again in the afternoon, when I picked him up I did not get a chance to ask as there was only one person who was busy with other clients picking up. We LOVE Kennelwood!! We have had the best experience with our puppy Oliver. He did the 3 week daycare training program. It was so worth it for us. Our trainer, Kathryn, has been amazing and was able to spend the time laying his framework training. At the end of a training week, we would have a “human lesson” where we were taught everything he learned that week so we could follow up with the training at home. I am blown away at how much he has learned in 3 short weeks! Could not recommend Kennelwood Kirkwood & Kathryn enough!

my initial impression of Kennelwood Train & Play has been excellent. My pup had become fearful attending a different daycare facility, and she has already - within 3 visits - begun to warm up to the caring staff that clearly "speak dog". The facilities are clean, bright, spacious. They are organized, scheduling is easy and all staff are knowledgeable of their services, operations, training and handling.
