We just moved here to East Helena and our youngest has always been timid near pools. On day one, she met Brooke and whispered to me, "Daddy, can she teach me to swim?" All of the lifeguards are patient and kind, but we especially appreciated Brooke's demeanor and honesty in the water with our daughter. She was encouraging without being a cheerleader, and really focused on the fundamentals, all while making it fun! My kids have been doing swimming lessons here this summer and I just wanted to post this because the teenagers who teach the classes are just amazing. They’re so good with the little kids, I’m seriously impressed. They’re super patient and kind and put my five year old at ease. My eight year old is very close to swimming on her own after a few classes.
