Undervalued my property by about $50k, and that's on the conservative side. My lender chose this poor appraiser so I was stuck with him. But even after a personal phone call with Ken to try and sort things out and a rebutle I'm forced to get another appraisal because he wouldn't adjust the price... This old guy has absolutely zero clue of the current market conditions. Avoid using this appraiser at all cost, unless you are seeking a very undervalued appraisal... No Stars for sure, No Patience, Turned up early, Old age. Unaware of what's going on in and around city, No Knowledge whatsoever on the current Housing market. Gave a completely wrong appraisal to Bank Making me pay more. I know friends bought for a much higher price and they show them as 20-30 % less on report. Not sure what Year they live.
Very poor experience overall. Appraiser showed up early unannounced, proceeded to start walking around my property without announcing himself. Very unprofessional.
He made a factual error and would not correct it when I called to let I him know. He also said every house in New Buffalo has private deeded beach rights. #nottrue Switched lenders and a new appraisal came back 40% over his appraisal.
