We checked in at the Kennebunkport Inn at 6 PM when there was a roaring crowd at the restaurant. It appeared charming and festive- until we were taken to our ground floor room through the middle of the restaurant (the only way to get here which is awkward with a full restaurant of people eating) with windows overlooking the outdoor restaurant seating. After 10 minutes of getting my drink the manager told me that they must have a quick turnover at the bar and basically told me to leave so they could seat other people while i was a PAYING customer. They also prompted the AMAZING singer to leave early due to this. Horrible service by the manager. The bartender was phenomenal though.
Gail, the wonderful manager, went out of her way to help us enjoy our 10-day stay for my wife’s birthday. We have relaxed at the Boathouse and Kennebunkport at least 30 days now. The convenient location right in Kenebunkport is worth the price.
Do not expect much for breakfast— factory stale rolls. I have had better at Best Western AND Super 8.$550 pet night average room charge. They have costs screwed down so tight it is unpleasant Telephone heck Severely limited front desk No one picks up their phone so you have to wait for them to call you back when you are driving We have stayed there over 30 nights We stay in a nice room (not cheapest ) stay during the week. But it is frustrating Retired frequent traveler
