Absolutely horrible. I cannot begin to explain the pure arrogance I felt from him. Felt like he did not care whatsoever about his patient and had better things to do . 0/10 . Nurse was good tho.
He performed emergency surgery on me; he was very thorough and I felt safe in his care
I was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer and Dr. Kendrick was my surgeon. He was quick, explained what was happening and did an excellent job. He used robotic arms so my incisions were much easier to deal with than a standard procedure. He is very direct (which I appreciate) but also has a sense of humor and is a real advocate for his patients to the hospital.
Doctor burst into the exam room and said “I’m Kendrick how are you.” Seemed almost irritated to be doing his job. I guess he did his job as required but I left with no true feeling of confidence.
This Doctor is so straight forward and honest! He performed hemroidectomy on me. I have been so happy with my surgery. His office staff and nurses were also amazing. I do not want to go through this again, but if I do, I would do it with this doctor and staff.
Dr. Kendrick is not a doctor I would recommend. I needed surgery and he wanted to put it off. Luckily I found a doctor in Dallas that performed the surgery I needed within the week. It turned out my colon was leaking and I was toxic. I cannot imagine what would have happen had waited. He is the only colon rectal doctor in Abilene. My suggestion is to do your research and find a doctor that is competent in your needs. He also lacks the bedside manners that I find acceptable.
Dr,Kendrick is a very good doctor only issue is with his staff, Kendrick addressed a surgery that has to be done as soon as possible and has had it scheduled but I have to get approved by the heart specialist first. The staff still has not got me in or called me and my surgery is right around the corner. It is very disrespectful to have such a scary procedure needed to be done and will need family with me but there is no schedule date. This can be a life or death matter and my family is in AZ.
