My husband and I stayed at the Kendell Inn in early September, 2925. When we arrived, we were disappointed to see the entrance and landscaping were very overgrown and unsightly. Nothing like the pictures. Other Hotels/Inns in the area had pumpkins, fall flowers etc. The man that showed us the room was ok, not particularly welcoming. The room was tiny, bed was ok. We are so disappointed in this B&B. We booked it for Sept 30- Oct 2. My husband became ill and we went to the doctor hoping it was a quick recovery( it is Covid) I came home and called Kendall and told them we were not going to be able to come. They said to call booking which we did. The lady on the phone at the Kendall said they appreciated us calling because they had a waiting list. We sent a request to them through booking to refund our money and they denied it. It wasn’t within 7 days it was 5 but we didn’t know until 5 ... read more
The Kendall Inn was the highlight of our first trip to Maine. Located just a few blocks from downtown Freeport, and a short drive from Portland. Keith, Stephanie, and Matt were such gracious hosts. We were welcomed at checkin by Keith, who showed us around the Inn and took us to our room. The room was very clean, private, comfortable, and quiet. Couldn't have had a better experience. Three-course breakfast in the morning and milk and cookies at night, clean rooms, attentive service, and very peaceful grounds. Highly recommend!
