Chose to buy car out of Fairbanks instead of Anchorage as I was impressed with my salesperson’s (Latoya) personality and sales perspectives and process.
I've had to have several maintenance items completed, both regular maintenance and some due to moving to Alaska. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly and knowledgeable, and the work performed has been done well. I will continue taking my vehicle here as long as these critical things remain. It would be nice to get car wash service like I've had at some other dealerships, but that's really an extra and not within my expectations when getting work done on my vehicle. Great work, team!!
the team will do everything to fight you when your car is under warranty. I have went in 5 times about an oil leak and they FINALLY took a look and saw it WAS leaking like I mentioned every visit I had. they did it right before my warranty expired, but I had to advocate for myself and my car over and over to get this far. the communication is horrible when waiting for my car. there was no answer when I called about the status, so i texted the number where updates are supposed to be sent. they texted back “It does look like y... read more
Service member refused to allow me to schedule an appointment for an oil change, told me I needed to drop it off at 7am to be worked in. I did just that. had to arrange for a ride to work and from work that day to get the car. They did not have time to do it and when I called for a status update they told me to come get my car, without the oil change being done. I have a warrantied vehicle that requires timely service to be done and this shop does not have enough time to service the subarus they have sold. 0/10 recommend.
Had a great experience at Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks on my recent purchase, the staff was very helpful. Latoya, Andrew, Amber, and Joe helped ensure everything was good to go. The vehicle was ready to go, looked good, very clean, and the entire experience was good. Have been having a really good driving experience with my Subaru Forester!
