Update: The gym later reached out through mutual contacts and said they have taken steps to prevent this situation from happening again. I appreciate the follow-up. I’m leaving this review up because the interaction genuinely made my first visit uncomfortable, but I hope future guests have a better experience. Came in for a drop in class. The person at the front desk wasn't helpful
I attended Kendall Square CrossFit for about a year and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From day one, the community was incredibly welcoming — friendly members, supportive coaches, and a no-ego environment that made it easy to show up and work hard. The workouts consistently pushed me beyond what I’d do on my own, and the range of experience in each class meant there was always someone nearby to chase or pace with.
