I used to really love this clinic. The front desk staff and veterinary assistants were always incredibly friendly, and Dr. Samira was excellent. My experience changed when my dog was seen by a different doctor. During one appointment, I was charged for two vaccines that my dog did not need. When I contacted the clinic about the charges, I was told that if I could not afford it, I simply should not come to the clinic and that I should “save some money for next time.” this was really unprofessional. Kenaston Veterinary Hospital is an absolute disaster. The level of disorganization, incompetence, and lack of professionalism I experienced here is honestly shocking for a veterinary clinic. The front desk staff are incompetent, communication is terrible, management is a joke, and everything feels rushed and chaotic. There is very little confidence that anyone actually knows what is happening from one moment to the next. Would not ever go back to this clinic and warn others off as well. Brought my cat here with concerns, weight loss and what looked like pain in his legs. Was told he just had arthritis and was otherwise totally healthy. He was due for a vaccine about a month or so later. Couldn’t get into Kenaston so went elsewhere. They gave him a full physical and were very concerned. Mentioned his obvious pain, weight loss, and felt a lump in his stomach. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Eissa and Kenaston Vet. My dog was diagnosed with Inflamed Bowel Disease by another vet and they recommended doing a costly plasma transfusion. I got a second opinion from Dr. Eissa and he reran the bloodwork and confirmed his values did not warrant a plasma transfusion and recommended a more conservative approach. Dr. Eissa saved me thousands of dollars and helped my dog manage his IBD. I will continue to come from out of the city for Dr. Eissa and the staff as they are very compass... read more
