I visited the Ken Towery location at 4050 Cane Run Road on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 because my car was overheating. Though I had had a bad experience in the past with rude service people there years ago, I was in a pinch, and had to stop somewhere for fear that my car would die if I didn't. After waiting about thirty minutes, the customer service guy came and got me, and he and a mechanic showed me where the radiator was leaking, and that the hoses needed to be replaced. Had an online appointment for tires. When I arrived at the store the apathetic clerk told me the tires I had ordered were not available and tried to up sale me into more expensive brand. Classic "bait and switch". When I called him on it he stated they were short a tech and could not do the work today anyway. They had my phone number but never called me about the tires not being available or unable to perform work. Long time customer, NOT ANYMORE! This is the 2nd bad experience in a row. There will be no strike three.
Not sure they could have messed up a simple task of putting 2 tires on my truck more. First off I had an appointment to get 2 tires and alignment done. I got there and was told I would have to come back since the tech was not there for alignment. I was cool about it made an appointment for a few days later. Then I explained I wanted the 2 new tires on the front and the old front ones put on the back and switch sides so that the front left was on the back right and the front right on the back left . I had the worst experience here today. I went to get a screw pulled out and have my two front tires looked at because they were starting to dry rot ( mind you I am an unlucky person and was in here three-four weeks ago to have another screw pulled asked them to look at the same two tires and they said they were fine) the guy came out and said I needed four new tires. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Not only was the level of respect breached this man was rude and down right disrespectful!! I asked for the free tire rotation and break check. I was not informed that there was a charge until after the fact.
