My husband has found that kens has much better wood than what can be found at big box stores, and we prefer to buy locally anyway. The only downside is it’s hard for him to get to Ken’s because of his normal work schedule and their hours. We’ve used them when we’ve done significant sized house projects when we needed wood by the truck load.
We did a portch railing project and their price beat the other four we priced out, delivery was on time and when we had to exchange an item and return a part of it they handed it all awesome! I can’t always say the same for the larger companies around.
