I met Dr. Carr in October 2024. I was so pleased with his bedside manner, professionalism, and genuine care for my well-being. He is very responsive when I send him ECG‘s or questions through the portal. In January, after receiving an ECG with a fib through the portal, he called me directly while I was in an emergency room on Molokai. I was both impressed and touched by this.
He listens to me and then explains everything in words I can understand. Now he has moved and I am trying to find him as no other cardiologist in the Valley seems to be as good overall as Dr Carr
Nice people, but you seldom meet the doctor. Everything is done with physician assistants. Be very careful with your billing. Over the past 3 months I've had 3 unrelated billing dates and they give you less than 30 days to pay. They charge you $5. for a balance unpaid by insurance when they finally bill you for the balance. The billing third party has less than the average knowledge of math. Just be very careful with your bill.
Dr.Carr seems to e a good dr. HE has operated on me twice. Each time placing 2 stints. The reason that I would not recommend him is his lack of people skills. He is one of those doctors that seems to think he's better then you and worse, doesn't have time for you. Both times I met him was in the hospital. I'very had several visits to his office but it's never been with him. Always one of his interns. I have to say recently his office has cheered up, thankfully.
I was admitted to the TRI-CITY Emergency Room on 12/21/2015 with c/o chest pain. The laboratory results indicated a need for an Angiogram with possible Angioplasty. Dr. Carr performed an Angioplasty next day; results blockages in the aorta which he inserted two medicated stents. I am to schedule a follow up with Dr. Carr in mid January for a nuclear stress. I have not made an office visit at this point.
