A couple at our hotel told us to go here instead of the hotel coffee shop. Boy we're they right. We bought sweet and savory item for our road trip to Port Renfrew. Best chocolate eclair ever! The savory turkey sausage roll was so well seasoned. Great little bakery. Loved seeing all the hand made and hand decorated cake pictures.
We walked in off the street with a vague idea of grabbing a cake or other treat to commemorate a milestone anniversary for my parents. They had a few cakes prepped, for a really good price, so we just asked for a chocolate one. The baker offered to write on it, so yes, sure, "happy anniversary" please. Lovely spot, convenient service, but the thing is - this was one of the best bakery cakes I've ever had. Google maps was wrong with the location, but if you look for the Pharmasave, its right next door.
Best Nanaimo bar I've had in ages! The stuffed cookies are also an absolute treat. They use a really nice quality chocolate in their baked goods, too. Gotta check them out!
