I am an older patient. I have needed several tooth extractions over the years. This extraction of #28 was described to me (by my regular dentist) as somewhat difficult due to it’s location near a nerve. Dr. Smith’s confident attitude was that it would just be “swizzled” right out. And that it was! The shots needed to numb the area were thoughtfully timed and placed with minimal to no discomfort. Kelsey Smith is not recommended. She feels she entitled to be treated better than the patients she is seeing and paying her. She got mad because I called her Kelsey when that’s all I seen on her jacket, her first name while I said hi, while in pain from a bad tooth. I was just recognizing her. She got mad and told me I better call her Dr and she’s earned after 12 years of school etc. Got mad. All I seen was first name and was in a lot of pain. I had a tooth extracted on 8/15. Later in the afternoon. Today my tongue is so swollen that I can't eat, drink or speak. My medications did not make it my Pharmacy .I'm pretty sure this is not what is supposed to happen. She didn't check and see if I made it home or if was able to get my medications is unacceptable. I feel I need to warn others that she doesn't follow up. As to Walgreens and my prescription may be an error on Walgreens part. But there was no one to confirm that it had ever been written. Dr. Smith is great! I went in for oral surgery for two extractions and some other things and Dr. Smith made sure everything was done properly and made sure the surgery went smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. Smith for anyone referred.
In the beginning I was very impressed by this office. Dr. smith is amazing and compassionate. She makes sure your procedure is pain free and you’re comfortable. Unfortunately things took a different turn when it comes to their finance department, specifically Drew. They gave me an initial quote for my implant and I paid for everything upfront so it would be easier.
