Kelsey Caffy has been my daughter’s pediatrician ever since she was 2 days old. Ever since she got married she’s become super rude, entitled and cocky. My daughter has RSV and we did a telehealth appt and she didn’t even ask to see my daughter , continued to over talk me during the telehealth session and refused to provide any real care. This is among many reasons I have transitioned my care to UNC. My daughter(s) deserve to have pediatricians that are diverse and supportive. She will not be seeing Kelsey again.
We (Me & My Wife) have been with Dr.Caffy for 3+ years now, she is wonderful! Never recommends something we don't need, never leaves us in panic mode, Very responsive to any queries as soon as she can. Can not wish for anyone better.
After our baby was born, we went for a follow-up check at the place Duke recommended. However, Kelsey Caffy didn't attend to the baby and insisted on daily weight check-ups without offering advice on weight gain. This meant driving around 20 miles every day with the newborn. She consistently recommended formula milk without suggesting any other methods to help the baby gain weight.Each visit for the weight checkup cost us approximately $350. Due to this, I cannot recommend this doctor for newborn care.
