I appreciate all the assistance and care from Spencer and Dr. Smith, after a drunk driver hit me on my way to call to the fire hall. As a volunteer first responder and firefighter, I appreciate all the help from Spencer and Dr. Smith. They have been phenomenal assisting me with treatment and managing ICBC. I have been to this clinic a few times. The wait can be long if you have a minor issue because they triage patients based on urgency, and this is why many reviewers have seen people who arrived after them let in first. Once I’ve gotten in I have always received good care however. Lately they allow you to leave the building and let you know via pager etc. when it’s your turn as well.

I had called and booked an appointment for an IUD insertion at this clinic as I was moving to a country where contraception was not accessible. On the day of my appointment, a woman called me and said that the clinic would be cancelling my appointment because it was not a life-threatening concern and that they are short-staffed and need to keep the appointments for life-threatening concerns. Vorneweg: die Ärztin und Krankenschwester waren super. Freundlich und um Hilfe bemüht. Vielen Dank dafür! Was ich schrecklich fand ist, dass zur Öffnungszeit da war, ich 4h warten musste, nur um dann in die ER geschickt zu werden. Ich weiß, dass am Ende niemand was dafür kann, aber trotzdem eine schreckliche Erfahrung.

From the admin at the front desk to the nurse and doctor we saw everyone was so kind and caring. My son needed his first stitches ever and they were so awesome.
