Absolutely horrible customer service. My mother had a portable oxygen unit that we were RENTING with the knowledge that after 13 months it was ours. Well, now she is under hospice and they want their concentrator back. Well.. because we refused to return the item until she can get another unit.. they called CITRUS COUNTY SHERRIF OFFICE. Now they have left a woman with copd without a portable machine so she cannot go out of the house. Tried getting a scooter for my elderly father, but got jerked around for months. With every phone call we made, they gave different reasons (lies) why they weren't processing his claim. They blamed it on not having a home inspection (which was done in January), then they blamed it on the doctor's office (which provided a second visit/prescription). They even blamed it on Medicare, but according to Medicare, Kelmedix NEVER SUBMITTED A THING! After wasting our time with them for more than 4 months, we gave up on this crappy pl... read more

Due to strict restrictions by Medicare, this was one that we could not do. My team did not think that there was enough information to fit these guidelines. I'm happy that you found a company that was willing to fulfill your order. Sorry that due to HIPAA regulations I cannot tell you the reason that this certain scooter prescription could not be filled. I assure you, we do many scooters every week, and we follow strict guidelines.
I contacted KelmedixInc in late March, 2019 in order to obtain a new Power Wheelchair thru Medicare. The required forms where sent to my Primary Doctor on March 28, 2019. I saw my Doctor on April 1, 2019 where he filled out all the required Medicare forms, added Office notes and a new Prescription. All forms were Faxed back to KelmedixInc and received on April 16, 2019 as per their Intake Dept. who noted to me the forms where dated April 5th, 2019 meaning she would have had to see them in order to state this fact, and allege... read more
Kelmedix called my mom and sent her braces for her back and arm that she did not need. Tried to send braces back and they said we could not return. She never called them to order they kept calling her house. I asked them to take off call list and they seem to continue to call and send packages that are unwanted and unneeded. I do not recommend this company.
My mother is 80 years old and was called several times and ended up with a back brace and knee brace that she does not need or want. My brother and her have tried to contact this company to return it and was told she needs to wait 24 hrs. They only give you a 3 day return. I personally feel if something is not needed why scam Medicare and her insurance for money.
RecommendedThis place has the best customer service! I spoke with Nicole about a piece of equipment I was looking for. She was very patient and explained everything in a way I could understand. The item I was looking for was affordably priced and because it had to be ordered in, they provided a temporary one. Awesome customer service, very friendly and the best products!
Very unprofessional staff, my wife was generous to give 2 stars and those along with my 1 star are for their delivery person, he is the ONLY person with this company that displayed any professionalism. As for Sharon’s response attacking my wife, this is completely uncalled for especially as a Manager. The state, CMS, and our INS will investigate all of this including your slanderous statements and breeches of confidentiality as NO patient deserves to be subject to this!
