We stopped at Kellys to fuel up our boat and to grab a few snacks/drinks from the store. We politely asked the manager (assume to be Jeff Kelly’s daughter…) if we could make purchases and she rudely asked us to leave. We couldn’t have been more polite and respectful. We were essentially told to leave because guests were impacted by our presence. This is our 2nd year coming back to Kelly's. The cabins are older but very well kept. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly. There is a mini-shop and bar right on site which is very convenient. In addition to the private lake front which you can go paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing, there's also a heated pool if you don't feel like swimming in the cold lake water. Overall we had a great experience. It's a great place to bring kids.
