Have to give a shout out to Kelly's Apple Farm here in Hilton, NY...went there today, eager to buy a bunch of apples to can...being new to the canning process, there is a lot we don't know...I think it was the owner we spoke with(could be wrong about that) that was VERY honest with us, and told us that canned apples would be better if we waited until October to buy the apples...even though they had apples for sale, he was forthcoming with that information to help us out when most people would've just sold us the apples...I t... read more
